Transit contacts with natal planets
Separate same-sign contact from full Parashari graha drishti.
For each moving graha the lab lists natal planets occupying the same sign. It also lists natal planets reached by the full sign-based aspects already taught in Module 4.
Mars receives its 4th/7th/8th pattern, Jupiter 5th/7th/9th, Saturn 3rd/7th/10th, and the other classical planets the 7th.
Rahu/Ketu special aspects remain excluded because the course has deliberately not selected one disputed convention.
Transit analysis begins with a natal reference. First calculate where the graha is now, then count its position from natal Moon or Lagna according to the rule being taught. A transit position by itself is not a life-event prediction.
Keep plain Gochar, Vedha, Ashtakavarga support and transit-to-natal contacts as separate layers. Combining them is a later synthesis step; the Transit Lab labels them separately to prevent accidental mixing.
How to read it
- Choose the transit date/time.
- Read the transiting planet’s sidereal sign/degree.
- Count from natal Moon and Lagna.
- Check the lesson’s base Gochar rule and BAV support.
- Add natal contacts and Dasha context separately.
Key points
- Transit is time-dependent calculation.
- Moon-relative and Lagna-relative counts are separate references.
- A structural Sade Sati phase is not an automatic prediction.
Do not label a transit as “good/bad” from one house count while ignoring natal condition and timing context.
Apply this lesson to a chart
- Open Transit Lab and set one date.
- Choose Saturn or Jupiter and write sign, house from Moon and house from Lagna.
- Add BAV bindus and any natal contact as separate lines.
