Maha, Khala and Dainya exchanges
Classify detected exchanges using the house groups described in Phaladeepika 6.32.
If an exchange involves the 6th, 8th or 12th lord, the course labels it Dainya.
If it does not involve those houses but does involve the 3rd lord, it is labelled Khala.
The remaining eligible exchanges are labelled Maha. The label is structural; interpretation still needs dignity, affliction, D9 and Dasha.
Synthesis is where you connect evidence without erasing disagreement. Keep three labels in your notes: calculated fact, traditional rule, and your final cautious synthesis.
When two layers disagree, write the disagreement instead of averaging them into a score. Good chart reading is traceable: another learner should be able to follow your sentence back to the house, planet, Varga or timing evidence that produced it.

- Write tensions/contradictions separately.
- Add timing last and use conditional language.
