D1 + D9 + Dasha
Connect divisional-chart context to the timing framework only after natal structure is clear.
When a planet becomes a Mahadasha or Antardasha lord, first read its D1 house/sign/lordships and then inspect its D9 sign, house and dignity.
The D9 does not replace D1, and Dasha does not replace either chart. The three layers answer different structural and timing questions.
The app therefore keeps Dasha calculation, D1 chart facts and D9 comparison separate, so the learner can combine them consciously.
Navamsha is derived from the exact natal degree; it is not a second independent sky chart. Always preserve the D1 placement and use D9 to compare how the same graha maps into the ninth division.
A useful D1↔D9 comparison asks whether the sign/dignity changes, whether the graha becomes Vargottama, and where it falls by house in D9. It should not turn every difference into “good” or “bad.”
